Clicking Away

January 24, 2009

So far so good on my 365 Project. The tip that has saved me is shooting at least one shot in the morning. Clicking a few pix every morning is becoming part of my daily routine right there with my coffee and making breakfast for the kids. I cannot tell you how much I am enjoying it.

How about you? Are you keeping up with the creative in your life?

your photos show that you are off and running …getting into a routine is key I think as well…love the braid.

I am posting 100 random pictures from my “Table by the Window” on flickr.

Unlike you I am not succeeding at this project. I’d like to say that its because my kids are grown and out of the house and the dog is sick of having his photo taken, but its about lack of discipline, motivation, and honestly guts to just get out there and shoot when there isn’t a “reason” to. Thanks for the inspiration!

i think you are doing great with it! there may be days you won’t think you can hang in there – just shoot through it and all the mojo will come back again. the project certainly pushed me to learn more about my camera, and myself. lovely set of photos tracey.

Oh, I love the braid, especially next to the dandelion puff. I’ve been having a blast with this, expanding my techniques one day at a time, trying out new perspectives on old shots. I definitely agree with the morning shot, before the day runs away with me. My biggest challenge is my extremely slow computer which seems to suck the will out of me when it takes an hour to get a shot from camera to flickr. Perseverance!

I’m trying. I can take up to 300 photos a day and then other days. Zip.

My middle girl is getting kinda cranky when I show up with the camera! :)

I haven’t joined the project but I changed my Dr blog to being more about my life and that is mostly photography. No kidding it keeps me sane.

I work on it every day and am so grateful to have a spot where I can the the loveliness. Creativity heals us. And I’ve learned to love medicine again.

Gorgeous, gorgeous! You are an inspiration, Tracey…I’m doing the faily picture challenge too, but struggle to find anything interesting some days. Your fresh ideas inspire me.

That is fantastic – what a great idea, and even better that you are able to stick with it and fit it into your routine.
I am trying to stay focused – and being creative this year. But I do find life get’s in the way, and the -31 temperatures outside the past few weeks aren’t helping – but I am sticking with it! :)

Looking good Tracey! I’m hanging in there but have struggled the last day or two- lack of light and inspiration. Which reminds me, haven’t done today’s yet…
