08 Aug Growth Spurt
Growth of any kind often comes in fits and starts and yet often we are unaware of the work going on behind the scenes of a growth spurt. The rapid evolution of childhood is not unlike how it happens in adulthood, it’s just not quite as physically exaggerated.
Looking back to only a year ago, I recognize how much has changed in a short amount of time. My youngest has since learned to read on her own, swim with ease, and cruise around gracefully on her bike (without her training wheels). My oldest has will be a teen in mere months and has changed dramatically over the year. And I too feel like a new person on many levels with all that I’ve experienced.
Phew! That is a lot of growing in one year.
What is your life looking like these days? I encourage you to look back to mark how far you’ve come. Perhaps you have an photo to share that reminds you how much growing has taken place in your own life. I got a head start for my Best Shot Monday post this week.

This week my best shot is welcoming my friend to motherhood which makes you grow more than you can ever imagine.

Growth…. and how we continue to grow within, and for others even when our time is through.

not so much on the growth this week. must be hormones – at least that’s what I’m blaming it on.

Posted at 12:16h, 10 AugustI read this and started thinking about all the changes in my life over the last year and there have been plenty! Sometimes I have to pinch myself that I am living this life. So many dreams have come true all I had to do was let them happen.
