in the blink of an eye

in the blink of an eye

Summers not the only thing that’s moving at warp speed. As my daughter moves quickly toward her teenhood, I feel like time is flying by right before my eyes. This is a little vignette into what I see; my little girl, growing up.

It’s moments like these I could really use an August Break if only just to have time stand still for a while.

What vingettes have held your attention this week?

Oh I know what you mean Tracy. Time is just flying by as I watch our kids jump into their teens.

Here's a little vignette from the point of view of a baby on the in a baby bumper. We must look huge to them.

    My favorite POV

And a little mosaic for Monday.

My oldest started college last week- I can hardly believe it- it has been such an eye opener as I watch my younger ones, trying to stay aware of how quickly it all goes by. I focused this mornings post on Their Beautiful Differences

I know how you feel. My oldest daughter turned 3 yesterday, and sometimes I look at her and wonder where she came from. I'm still expecting to see a baby. Nuts!

Here is my best shot… a little vignette of my garden growing; waiting (impatiently) for autumn ~ http://megula.blogspot.com/2010/08/daydream-my-best-shot-monday.html

My little girl is sitting right now, giggling with her sister… I know that before I know it she is going to be all grown up 🙁

Time slips past us all – taking care of an ailing dog this past weekend puts a bit more in perspective.

Dearest Tracy, i too feel that time is just flying by so fast. I really need to remind myself to appreciate each day even mondays. Love this photo lots, eventho i dont have kids yet but i could relate to what you feel here coz my papa always tells me that he can't believe that his little girl is now a lady. 🙂 Have a lovely merry happy day and love to you!

A snapshot for the end of the summer. We loved everything about this summer. Nothing could have made it better. Really!! (And I am so grateful for every moment of it!!) Now we're ready for what's next!
