I am so excited about my latest creative muse I can hardly stand it. I have been eager to try my luck at TTV (Through the Viewfinder) photography.

I am spending some time this weekend with the fetching and amazingly talented Hula and will be pestering and probing her on how to get the best results with this kind of photography. It’s new to me (besides the few times I’ve played with her cameras before) but she is a master. And when I see her work and the work of others that are doing it, I get super-excited!

I’m going to to start sharing my images here which I’m giddy about. The shot above was the very first shot I took. No “contraption” involved here, just my macro lens to the view finder.

It’s going to take some experimentation and trail and error and hopefully a contraption that Hula will help me make, but already, I’m in love.

    I love taking TtV pics, and don’t really do it enough. Although I keep adding to my old camera collection for more photo taking apps. Have fun!
