19 Nov Twelve
12 months in a year.
12 eggs in a carton.
12 numbers on the clock.
12 days of Christmas.
12 donuts in a dozen.
12 roses on Valentine’s Day.
12 years ago today…
…a baby girl was delivered from within my womb and placed upon my heart. She squinted to see and then sang to me a song that my soul always knew. And at that moment I was awakened with the love of the ages.
My amazing girl, who would I possibly be without you? You have been a precious gift each and every minute of your 12 sweet years. Happy Birthday! Always, Your Mommy.

Posted at 17:10h, 21 NovemberDear Tracey —
I’m here writing you for the first time after meeting you earlier this week in the pages of Artful Blogging. I just turned 25 Novemeber 9th (haa haa…which I mention because it feels sorta like a milestone, I guess, I don’t know…who ever knows) and have recently been tumbling over my own feet from being wildly curious and overly enthusiastic about the BLOGGING world. I just want to thank you for being a jumpstart-source of inspiration for me, and in terms of this BLOG post "12," I wanted to say: an outstanding dream of my many, ever since I was a little girl, was to feel the way you describe you felt when your daughter was born. I pray that one day I will be able to write something similar on my future BLOG, so thank you thank you thank you for my making my dream even THAT more clear.
<3 I wish you many blessings ahead, many new photographical opportunities, and a happy, brightful Thanksgiving!
Sincerely,
Amanda Zee from NYC

Posted at 09:24h, 26 NovemberIs this the little girl I carried
Is this the little girl at play
I don’t remember getting older
when did they?
sunrise, sunset, sunrise, sunset….
I will never forget the feeling of being a brand new grandmother
for the very first time! It truly takes your breath away. Seeing your
precious girl with a girl of her own is beautiful beyond measure.
How can you possibly love someone as much as you have loved
your own babies… It just happens, you just do!
Welcome my dearest girls to a sweet new year of growing and learning together.
