I’ve written of being busy with work and new projects. I’ve shared stories of big milestones and lamented over missing my now high schooler. But what I haven’t said is that in between all that, there’s been a lot of living going on over here.

Beyond the work, despite the letting go, amidst settling into September there has been the savoring of summer fruit, playful puppies, learning cursive, soccer, instagram, board games, frozen yogurt, exploration, adventures, sunsets and snuggle time. 

This is what my life is about. It’s the stuff that matters most. And I am cherishing every minute just like this that this comes into focus.

    thank you, tracey. yes, beauty in the simple, sacred moments. for me lately, what is coming into focus…the vocation that has been beckoning me (the one i have consistently resisted) and the desire now to soften into it.
