I looked at it a bit but was nervous with a new product, especially after reading their list of “known issues.” I figured let someone else be the guinea pig–nice of me, huh?
i have not.. YET. and only because i don’t have the option. they took it away from most of us, and then will rerelease it gradually (or some shit like that). i think a lot of the bugs that were initially a problem, have been fixed. i can’t wait to switch cause this bitch wants CATEGORIES for her posts!!!!!
I switched. The beta version hasn’t made me pee myself. It has made it a pain to comment on other people’s entries. It does make it easier to mess with your template, if you like to do that. Also, if you want to try beta but don’t have the button, use the “search help” feature on your dashboard page and search for beta, how do I get beta, etc. My son did that and the button appeared.
I switched two blogs over to Beta and couldn’t be happier even with the known issues [can’t comment on a non-Beta blog if they don’t allow Other or Anonymous].
Pros? It creates a dynamic blog page [that updates instantly]. It features Labels [yayess!]; and has widgets for various page elements that are uber-easy to edit [especially links].
girl, get yourself on over to vox. it is a thing of beauty and so nice to use. if i were going to set up a new blog and i didn’t have a computer science degree (read: completely helpless on these matters), that’s where i’d be.
i set up a tech blog there, to keep track of stuff i want to learn–it was super easy.
Yes certainly, the new blogger tools has some amazing features. Only one of my blog sites have been offered the beta program. Still waiting for the others

Posted at 14:56h, 05 OctoberIs it true that they will eventually force all bloggers to switch to Beta?

I, for one, am not looking back. I love it.
