HD Moment Italy Trip

I cannot remember the last time I was this excited sifting and sorting through 25oo photographs. Each image brings back a memory, a feeling, a giggle, a moment from our most excellent Italian adventure. From conclave to creativity to camaraderie  the The Artist Series trip to Italy was one of the most unique and fun projects I have ever worked on. And the best part is that the trip was just part of the gig. Over the next few weeks, each of the artists of the series will be creating and sharing their own uniquely inspired works of art. After spending nearly a week with this group of crazy talented and uber-passionate group of artists, who happen to be amazing people in general, I am bursting with excitement to see, hear, taste (yes, this will be super-sensory experience) all of the wonderful things they come up with. Don’t worry, I’ll be introducing each of these fine folks and their expertise in future posts. As for me, it’s pretty much what you might imagine; I’ve got the visuals of the trip documented through my photographs. And I too will soon be sharing a very special series of images that I feel best evokes the magic of La Dolce Vita.

While I continue going through all of my photographs, I wanted to at least share a handful of little visual snippets from the trip. All of the images above where captured with my iPhone.

Thank you to Häagen-Dazs for the experience of a lifetime and thanks to all of you for following along, supporting & encouraging me along the way. Your comments on the images I shared as I traveled meant so much to me and helped me feel connected to all of you while I was away. I can’t tell you how much that means. I’m excited to share more about the other artists, about the trip and of course, about the gelato!

your images are stunning and I am transported to my country of origin, Italy, through your eyes. I will always remember my first trip to this place where my family originates… I instantly fell in love (at 12 years old) with the sights, sounds and aromas and made a vow to forever call it home. It is a place where I feel I belong and as I am in the process of starting a food blog where I will be sharing the glorious food, history and culture of Italy as well as many other foods I adore… you have inspired me to capture in words and food the images your photos showcase with ease.

grazie tante for sharing this with me and so many others who have yet to experience the country I truly call home.
