26 Nov Friday Light : More Milestones
A long while back my youngest daughter nearly got her front tooth knocked out from a little sisterly rough-housing. I wasn’t nearly ready, at the time, to have her baby face change with so little warning. Lucky for me, her tooth hung on (literally) and I had her sweet baby smile to enjoy for many more months to come.
Fast forward to Thanksgiving Eve when we were all ready for the snaggle-tooth to let go and make room for a big girl smile. What a difference a few short years makes! How can anyone possibly resist this face?
Where is the light shining in your life today, after the great day of love and gratitude?

Posted at 22:54h, 26 NovemberSo cute! Brings back fun memories of my kids losing their baby teeth. I once had a photographer ask if I wanted my son to keep his lips closed so the missing two front teeth wouldn't be showing. I couldn't believe it! I thought he looked adorable. It's still one of my favorite pictures of the boys.

I have never been good at letting go… I probably never will be…
