The other day, out of the clear blue, I hear a tender little voice sigh and say, “Mama, I love you in my whole life.” The sound of those words in that voice instantly took my breath away. “You do?” I answered. And after a moment she said, “Yah. I love you in my whole heart too.”

I’d say things are finally looking up.

    I can’t wait to experience all of those tender moments w/ my own child… Now, all of the throwing up & stomach flu, crying & tempertantrums, dirty hands & runny noses… I can wait for!!
