13 Jan Got Milk? Mom
I cannot begin to tell you how much I love this photo! I rarely get opportunities to have my photo taken with my girls so this was extra special. I shared the story behind the experience over at Shutter Sisters today if you’d like to hear my take on it. In a word- thrilling.
We were happy to be able to attend such an enchanted evening in the W Hotel’s winter wonderland (in warm LA) hosted by the folks at whymilk.com. My daughters had the times of thier lives skating on this crazy cool hybrid-synthetic ice rink and I was so excited about our milk mustaches it made my whole night…er…week (I mean I’m still talking about it for goodness sakes). It was a family affair and fun was had by all!
The event was merely one stop on the Great Gallon Give campaign which pledges to get more milk in the hands of moms everywhere. Considering I drink more milk than should be legal, I’m all for it! To find out more about it visit the whymilk.com website. You ‘ll find more info about the campaign and the most adorable photo ever of Rebecca Romijn and her twin girls. The behind the scenes video of the shoot is really cute too. She was gracious enough to attend the event but was surrounded my the media for her entire stay. That’s what happens when you’re a super-star I suppose.
If you’re on Facebook, I encourage you to get involved with the Great Gallon Give Milk campaign. For every virtual gallon of milk you pass via Facebook a dollar is donated to Feeding Amercia. Awesome.
Thanks to Mark Davis for shooting this image, to Chris Polk and Sarah for letting me share it here and a special thanks to Abby and Brian for such a unique and stellar experience.
