03 Apr Heeding the Warning
“There comes a time when self-care is no longer optional – it’s a necessity. After that it becomes involuntary. Your body will shut you down.” – Brene Brown, author, blogger, all around smarty pants and dear friend
Trying to take better care of myself these days. Slowing down. Eating. Unplugging. Tuning into my body. Breathing. Stretching. Quieting my mind. Getting (and staying) grounded. My heart and soul have been begging me for this kind of attention. It’s about time I listen.

Posted at 01:05h, 04 AprilGood for you. I had to learn the hard way with an onset of migraines where I had never suffered from them before. Brene Brown knows of which she speaks.
