light bulb moments

light bulb moments

Naomi Alice, Lauren Pressey and Kalani Cropper at the LA HOSB at Davie Brown

The other night HP and Davie Brown Entertainment graciously provided an amazing location for the LA  Hands On Small Business class. It was the third of five classes I have the honor of teaching for Kirsty and Microsoft Office Live.

The Hyatt Regency and the Hilton Anaheim we the other two amazing hosts. Thank you so much!

Seriously, I love teaching this small business and social media stuff. But most of all, I love the light bulb moments of the attendees. And the authentic connections I have made. It’s really gratifying.

This is just a shout out to both Kirsty and Microsoft Office Live for making it all possible. For free. As Naomi said on Monday night, ‘this is really amazing.’ That’s what I was gonna say.

There are still 2 So Cal classes left. If you’re local, I do hope you can make it to one. And if you’re not local, check out the website for other locations, dates and times. You don’t want to miss them!

Thanks to the Hands On Small Business class I went home that night very motivated and excited. By the next evening I had my blog set up which is an amazing feat considering I’ve been trying to get that going for two years in the midst of some good and bad distractions. The official launch email for my blog, kalanicut, will go out in a few days, but for now my introductory post is there and I will add a good bit more content before I spring it on the world.

Thanks to everyone who helped make this happen: fabulous teacher Tracey Clark, great sponsors, , etc. As a former journalist and a creative sort this is an exciting project for me and the Hands On Small Business class was just the springboard I needed. It’s sort of mindboggling how starting something you are so excited about gets you excited about begininning and achieving other things that will help you be more well-rounded and happy.
    Best, KC

If there was a class down in San Diego, I’d be there! My sister and I went to BlogWorld in Vegas last month and learned alot, but this class sounds like something that could be really helpful. Any chance of coming to San Diego in the future?
