Photobooth Legacy

Photobooth Legacy

I have a collection of photobooth strips starting from when I was a very young child. To watch the progression that transpires from strip to strip is hilarious and fascinating. I am so glad my parents (who were kids themselves at the time) made the effort to capture my early life in ‘the booth’.

I have since carried on the tradition. My husband and I took shots in the booth on our first movie date and stop at every booth we stumble upon. We take family photos every year at the OC Fair. It’s a tradition the kids have come to look forward to as much as I do.

For Father’s Day I decided to enlarge a few of my favorite photobooth framesof years past and matte and frame them (thank you Aaron Brothers for your One Cent Sale). It was not only an easy project (scan and frame) I love it even more than I thought I would! The legacy continues…

I too am a photo booth junkie. There used to be an awesome emoilsion one in black and white down in balboa, but sadly it is gone. I take photos with the boys at everyone we see. I am thinking of making a photo book with them all…but enlarging is a nice idea too!
And the OC Fair? Come find me. I will be there with our……wait for it…….PIG. Long story. But seriously I will be there ALL WEEK.

    UGH
    🙂

of all … sharing the tradition with her own dear babies.
Please take heart my precious parents…
Life is never really about the big splash. It’s the simple little clicks in a photo booth that really matter.
sweet love to my baby tracey … from your mommy in the photo booth

Love the idea! Our collection is now in a drawer…. after getting a new stainless refrigerator that is not magnetic, they lost their home. Thank you for saving my photo booth pictures from the dreaded drawer.
