receptive

receptive

Life is, above all else, a gift. Each breath, each ray of sunshine, each gust of wind, each snowflake, each step, each open door, each connection; all gifts.

When life gets overwhelming (good or bad makes no difference) I try to hold onto this perspective and carry on with outstretched arms. I work on being being more graciously receptive.

How about you? How have you been receiving your gifts?

Honestly. I haven't. Thank you for the reminder to do so. Life is easier when we recognize all the things we have to be grateful for…and for me – I could use a little more ease.

Thank you for this post. I am exploring my gifts and pushing my creative boundaries. Sharing work dear to my heart. Letting go of fear (False Evidence Against Reality). I am Opening. Blessings

My gift is to be able to stay home with my children during these very fast, young years. I'd hate to miss moments like this…

Life can be so overwhelming some times, so I try really hard to see the little things in ordinary everyday life that often get neglected and try to be grateful for those small things. Thank you for this beautiful post, today I so, so needed this reminder. Alison x

It's so hard sometimes … thanks for the reminder. And the (as always) gorgeous photo.

ah, for me it's been savoring unexpected kindnesses. so often I cast them off as the other person 'just being nice' and not truly receiving the gift of kindness. what a timely reminder to stay open to these.

What a beautiful little reminder on how important it is to be aware of our perspective. I, too, am trying to remind myself during moments of panic, worry and busyness, that it'll all be okay and that a positive attitude and the right perspective can make or break a situation.

    Thank you, Tracey.
