season of lights

season of lights

Wow. It’s December already.

I don’t know about you, but I am savoring the lights more than ever this year. The twinkle, the sparkle, the glitter, the glow…tell me what’s illuminating your world these days.

Absolutely. I'm feeling more open to, aware of, thankful for, the lights than ever. In fact I recently mused that this is the darkest month, in so many ways, and yet the one that is most filled with light. xox

I feel the same – I was dog sitting this weekend and the area I was in all the neighbors were putting up lights or had lights and decorations up – as I walked the dogs I was loving the sights and taking photos with my phone – it made me so happy to see all the spirit and then 7 fire trucks with sirens blasting came through with Santa on one of the trucks – what a magical night!!!!

I cannot believe that we're in December. It's complete craziness how quickly this year has gone by.

Things that are illuminating my world at the moment: my beautiful country drive to and from work, the stunning pictures over on the flickr pool for OWP, holiday baking and decorating, and being able to spend more time with my love.

May December continue to glitter, Tracey. Warm wishes for you and your family.

I was in London on Friday. The lights at Covent Garden were spectacular – a photographer's dream. I saw so many people with their lenses facing up into the giant baubles!
