coveted chair – anthropologie

My oldest daughter and I had an entire day to ourselves this weekend and we did nothing but wander. And take pictures. It was non-eventful in the best possible way. Just being together. Talking, laughing, shopping, browsing, snacking, snapping, playing.  A relaxing day that dream that mamas are made of.

playful patterns – Peek…aren’t you curious

Allowing the time in my life to let magic unfold is a new gift I am giving myself. I am filing it under ‘self-care’. My to-do list is mounting, I can’t kid myself but I am optimistic that I will soon find a balance and a peace where what must get done will and the time for magic will still be readily available.

The writing was on the wall at Peek…aren’t you curious. The message from David Hockney read,

People forget that play is serious.

careful….I just about got my camera taken from me from shooting inside an anthropologie store…big mouthy fight….me asking where their signs were saying "no photography" and them saying "it’s company policy" until I wanted to smack someone….ohhhh, but I do love that store !!!

they told it was stealing, as they have independent artists and anything photographed was stealing from them….blah blah blah
and yes…I want that chiar, too !

I love that chair… and I LOVE Anthropologie. I’ve always wanted to take my camera in there but I figured they would frown on that. How funny, my Sunday Self post this week is in a Anthropologie skirt I got before I was pregnant {and had spending money for myself}!

I love that store. I was at Anthropologie with my camera last winter but was asked by one of the salespeople to put my camera away. And I was taking pictures of plates…you must look less threatening that I did.

I just love this, the sentiments and the beauty of your mother-daughter day out, and the inspiration of the "self-care" file. I’ve also been coveting that orange dahlia armchair.

This is good that we are able to take the business loans moreover, it opens completely new possibilities.
