small wonders

small wonders

When the magic starts, you’ve just gotta go with it.

I picked up this little plant at a gardening shop on a whim. The blooms that sit perched upon the long slender stems have become muses. When shots like these come SOOC, who knows what other small wonders the day will hold.

Needed ‘muse’ encouragement today…looking for magic…need magic. This dreamy shot gets me going in that direction. Loving the bokeh and the perfect hue of pink.

Love this shot, and the reference to small wonders. It is a wonderment how when we stop to smell the roses, as it were, the rest of the day smells better… :o)

They almost look like lollipops or something. It seems almost improbable that their stems don’t bend under the weight. What a lovely, lovely shot.

    A thought to ponder…
"Drink your tea slowly and reverently,
as if this activity is the axis
on which the whole earth revolves.
    Live the moment.
Only this actual moment is life"
