summer fun

summer fun

I have been so excited about this news, I’m about to burst! I am delighted to announce my new partnership with the amazing ladies of Big Picture Classes and the stellar team of Paper Coterie in the creation of the new (and totally adorable) Picture Summer photo book!

The Picture Summer book was designed with my Picture Summer e-class prompts in mind with the intention that once you captured 30 super-splashy images of summer, you could then easily upload those images into this customizable photo book appropriately called Picture Summer. Fun prompts to shoot for from the class and a keepsake book to honor your photography? Yep! I’m totally in love.

In honor of the summer fun, Big Picture Classes, Paper Coterie and myself are all giving away a Picture Summer class registration and a Picture Summer book bundle to blog readers. We’re calling it a blog hop so you can hop around to all three blogs and enter to win at any or all of our blogs!

Leave a comment here between now and August 4th midnight EST for a chance to win. A winner will be selected from the comments here on Aug 5th.

If you’re so inclined, we would love to see what kind of summer fun you’ve been having this season! Share some of that summer photography with us!

………..

(Drumroll please)

And the winner is….Chris who commented,  Sounds like fun! and love the new look of the blog!

Congrats Chris and thank you to everyone who commented! I appreciate your support so much.

Ok ok ok. So I got this email through Picture Inspiration prompts in the middle of the night while I was up feeding Lily… and I didn't really get it (she is sucking the life out of me, after all, har har). So now that I'm seeing it on a screen bigger than my mobile, I am so super excited about this! This is such an amazingly wicked cool idea!!!!! So let me get this straight. The book (as linked above) is totally cool and summery… and when we take the course with your absolutely amazing prompts, we can then upload our images to the book and order?! Love. Just love. You have a right to be excited! SO cool!

What fabulous idea! The book looks great, too.

My summer fun included a trip to Asheville, NC where I ate until I couldn't take another bite. The best vacation EVER! See images here: http://ow.ly/5QkCb

This is great! I had the Picture Summer prompts in mind on our trip to New Mexico this summer. On our way back to California me and my friend did a three day roadtrip with 5 boys under 6 years old. Exhausting and lots of fun! Cant wait to pick out pics for a photobook.

I'm just getting started in photography and would love to take some of your e-classes. I loved your ferris wheel shot so much that I took my family to the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk to try and capture some of those beautiful images. They did not cooperate. But such is life with 4 young kids.

This summer I've really been testing myself with my new camera. The light and the summer island skies have been phenomenal for practice. Thanks so much for this opportunity.

I am going to buy me a new DSLR camera today because I want a good camera to capture the little things in life. You should try to cary your camera with you at all times because you never know what you will be blessed with seeing on any day, at any time. Life is way too short so stop along the way and document it for the generations to come after you. God bless and have a great day.

I love the book idea, as well as the blog hop giveaway. It was fun to scan through your Week in the Life photos as well since I am in the middle of creating my pages after collecting images for the project for the first time. I especially loved your picture with the sunglasses reflecting a different image on each lens.

I have read a number of one’s works already but this one
is merely brilliant. There aren’t a lot of substances I would suggest to everyone.
The previous time it had been https://es.easyvpnservice.com/. And that
I will certainly need all my friends to see work as
well. Thanks a whole lot, it turned into a real pleasure.
