the love of learning

the love of learning

It’s been far too long since I’ve been able to post. Truth is, I’ve been spending much of my time learning. Learning the ins and outs of being “connected” in a whole new way.  Learning to shoot and edit images with a new camera, phone, camera phone. Learning what the Consumer Electronic Show is all about. Learning how small the world can be. Learning about some exciting new things happening in the photography world. I’m sure I could add more to the list but I think that’s plenty of learning for now.

I’m working on a post to more thoroughly share my latest adventure but for now, I’m taking the rest of the weekend to process, muse, gather my thoughts and exhale. But, I have to say, that I have so enjoyed the opportunity to work with the fabulous group at Nokia and a chance to share my Nokia Perspective. Between the trip to Vegas for CES 2011, the new friends I have made, and the Nokia N8, I have been in Geek Heaven.

Thank you Nokia. You are the bee’s knees.

I'm curious to hear about your experience at CES, both the good stuff (the learning, the meeting) and the not so good stuff (was it too overcrowded and overwhelming? Was it difficult to find a decent breakfast?) I've also become a bit of a camera/phone gadget freak myself. I think we all have since the introduction of the iphone, when our phone part of our phone became the least interesting part of our phone.

Lucky you! I am just hoping fingers crossed, that the iPhone comes out on Verizon as rumored in a few days, hoping enough that I might put off upgrading to a new DSLR. Hope you had time to enjoy Vegas . . . it certainly is one wonderfully nutty city!

I only owned Nokia phones before the iPhone. Loved their technology and ease of use. If I wasn't so addicted, I'd…. nah, nevermind.

It is so fun to learn though. I am also trying to find that balancing act too…between learning the new stuff, perfecting the stuff you already know, and then still finding time to share it all!

I do miss your posts but take all the time you need to spill the process in a creative way. The world is indeed tiny. Like a little pea.
