the magic of Christmas

the magic of Christmas

Earlier this week, I got the opportunity to spend a perfectly magical evening at the theater with my 13-year-old. Just she and I.

We enjoyed a lovely meal at Maggiano’s in Little Italy Costa Mesa before the show. Which was so much fun and so delicious.

And then we headed over to the South Coast Repertory for a performance of A Christmas Carol. It was amazing. Amazing! We both loved every minute of it. One of my daughter’s good friend’s was in the play which made it that much more special. I could go on and on about it; I cannot recommend it enough. And it was our very first trip ever visiting the SCR for a performance but after that experience, it won’t be the last. What a fantastic theater!

Most of all, as a mother who knows that time is flying by far too quickly, getting the chance to spend an enchanted holiday evening like this with my daughter is something I will never forget. The best part? I know she feels the exact same way.

A very special thank you to the South Coast Repertory and to the dear friends who inspired us to see the show.
