I’ve come to realize that my entire life has been a journey in pursuit of my dreams, as well a practice of trusting that I am enough and that I will be loved as such, even if I am alone or if I am a little different. When I look back, at every step of the way I have been called to listen to my inner voice assuring me that even when everyone is opposed to my choices, I can still live life as I imagine it for myself, and that love… Oh yes… In time, love will come.

I relied on that voice when I left home to travel the world alone at 17, when I decided to build a life in a foreign country, when I became a Hollywood film producer, and recently, when I quit my secure yet demanding film job, to create a more balanced life and follow my passion for Photography. As you can imagine, my life has been inundated with criticism and questions all along. At times, it has been really really hard to tune out everyone and believe that even without anyone’s backing, I’d still be enough as an individual and that I’d also be strong and worthy of love. I can’t say that I’ve mastered that trust in myself or that it’s become easier in anyway. But I can say that whenever I have trusted in my “enoughness”, magic has unfolded and dreams have come true.

We are all full of complexities and beauty. We are all masterfully built to do what we want to do, which is what we are meant to do in this world anyway. And if we are not going to be loved for who we truly are, then why bother?
