I’ve been wanting something like this for a while. Although my husband started a collection for me years ago ( I know, how cool is that?), none of our cameras have a large view finder like this one. This beauty caught my eye on the shelf at my local photography lab/camera shop. Side note: if you don’t use a local lab, you really really should find yourself one. They are invaluable!

I asked to take a look. My trusty lab guy said that chances were I wouldn’t get anything from it. It’s broken I guess. He didn’t want to take any money for it until I took it home and played with it. I did. And I will promptly go by the lab tomorrow and pay him. I am already smitten. And the photos I took today are just lovely. I promise you’ll be seeing them very soon. I am so excited and cannot wait to share! YAY!

I am blown away at how gorgeous vintage cameras can be. They are works of art in themselves. True treasures. Just imagine all the images that have been captured by cameras like these. It makes me swoon.

Have you captured any treasures lately? I bet you have and I’d love to see them.

this is it in every sense of the word ..a treasure!! i relish the way you captured the reflection…

my college age daughter is working far away so for mothers day she artfully cut out some flowers from a magazine and sent them in a card. When I opened the envelope they fluttered out in a paper bouquet…it touched my heart more than the real thing…here is one in
    black and white

    This is a beauty!

I purchased two older cameras recently. My pentax ME super needs shutter repair, but I believe it’s worth it for the llens. I love it. I also found a polaroid land camera in original case with all parts. Can’t wait to get them cleaned up and working.

That is a gorgeous camera! It is always amazing when value can be found in other peoples junk. I have started my own camer collection this year, and have had so much fun scouring antique markets looking for working cameras. It is something I have become very passionate about.
